CLOSED: Technical Support Engineer (Boulder, CO)

A growing startup located in downtown Boulder, CO is seeking an experienced technical support engineer to help us provide high-quality technical support to our valued customers - both internal and external.

The ideal individual must have both strong technical skills and strong inter-personal skills. You would be joining a growing team and would have the opportunity and the responsibility to provide valuable input as our team grows and scales.

Must be a team player who is willing to wear multiple hats. You would initially be providing support at all levels - Tier I - Tier III, but this would emerge into a Tier III support role as the teams grows.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for multiple web-based products.
• Triage complex technical issues, resolving or escalating them as appropriate.
• Act as a customer advocate in relation to the development team to ensure that customer needs are addressed in ticket escalations.
• Take ownership of support incidents.
• Create detailed documentation for issues and their resolutions.


Qualifications:

• Experience reading and debugging PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience working with HTTP, HTML, XML, CSS, and Regular Expressions.
• Experience working with SQL (MySQL is a plus)
• Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.
• Must be able to assess customer needs and prioritize support requests.
• Friendly, patient, and professional inter-personal skills.

Travel: very limited - if at all
On call: will participate in rotation
