CLOSED - SQL Server Expert- Downtown Denver

We are looking for a SQL Server Expert to support the SQL Server part of the development.

This is not a DBA position (though candidate should possess all knowledge required for a DBA).

Instead, this position will be about 50% technical product development work and 50% customer-facing product management. We are looking for a rare candidate: someone with the technical skills to be a recognized leader in the office, but also someone who is comfortable traveling to customer sites, meeting with customers, and using those meetings to help define next generation features, outline potential customizations for the product.

On the technical side, the Position will require writing a lot of automation routines, stored procedures, and collection modules to monitor and collect statistical and performance indicators, give alerts, perform corrective actions, etc. Some database design will be involved. The product requires some very advanced real-time database monitoring and statistical collection. This is a dream job for a SQL Server expert who does not want to be an on-call DBA and constantly do fire-fighting.

Strong customer-focus , a dynamic personality, and leadership skills are a must for this position. Initial version of product has already been released, and major releases are planned every 6 months.

Can you please send me your latest:
