This person must have a background in Object Oriented programming and design (Java, C++, C#, etc - Java is preferred)


Ideally this person will also have extensive Flash experience as described below. However, strong Java web architects who have a willingness to learn Flash will also be a good fit.

Responsibilities:
• Take leadership role for future direction of application & Flash-based technologies
• Enhance design of sophisticated Flash editor & related applications
• Work with visual designers, developers, and subject matter experts to enhance existing Flash 8 (AS2) based RIA
• Create working interactive mock-ups of new product/application concepts

Preferred Experience:
• 3+ years web / interactive development experience
• Expert in ActionScript 2 (AS2) / Flash 8
• Working knowledge in ActionScript 3 (AS3) / Flash 9
• Proficient in integration of Flash application with SQL databases, .NET components, XML
• Proficient in Flash Remoting, Flash & JavaScript integration, Flash and Web Services
• Ability to create CSS driven, dynamic Flash layouts and templates
• Working knowledge in AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
• Proficient in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

Unified Communications Consulting Architect - anywhere 50% travel, 50% telecommute

This position is 50% travel and 50% telecommute. You can be located anywhere in the country.


Our client is currently seeking engineering experts with a solid track record in Microsoft technologies.

Specific in-depth experience with Exchange (2007 preferred) and Active Directory is a must-have. Experience with unified communications and Office Communications Server 2007 is desired, but not required. A CCNA or an individual with Nortel telephony experience who also has a strong background in Exchange and AD would be an excellent fit. Experience leading a team of engineers is desired, as well as is experience acting in a consultative role with customers.


The primary objective of this position is to provide technically advanced, project-based services to customers in a consultative and professional manner.


Responsibilities Include:
• Performs billable design services for Unified Communications and Microsoft Infrastructure projects, which may include servers, storage, voice/video, and network components. – 50%.
• Establishes IT architectures for complex customer environments. Works with the customer on IT planning cycles looking 2 to 3 years ahead. Sets customer standards that enable business improvements by implementing proper technology solutions. Oversees the implementation of environments utilizing other resources as necessary. – 30%
• Assists in presales efforts by attending meetings, presenting to customers, and helping to prepare design and scope of work documents. – 10%
• Mentors Engineers and Senior Engineers toward the Consultant level – 5%
• Career development towards Senior Consultant level. – 5%

Required Experience:
Exchange 2003/2007:
• Must have Exchange Server 2003/2007 architecture, design, and deployment experience (not administration).
• Must have Exchange migration experience

Preferred Experience:
Exchange 2003/2007:
• Extensive experience migrating medium organizations (up to 5000 mailboxes) from Exchange 5.5 and 2000 to Exchange 2003.
• Able to communicate the feature-sets, technical enhancements and benefits provided by Exchange Server 2007.
• Experience with Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging desired, but not required.

Active Directory/Windows 2003:
• Strong background in Active Directory architecture and design (not just administration) based on the Windows 2003 server operating system.
• Detailed knowledge of the Windows security model and processes.
• Significant experience in the design and deployment of Group Policies.
• Extensive experience migrating medium/large organizations (1000+ users) from Windows NT 4.0 and Windows Server 2000 directory services to Windows Server 2003 Active Directory.
• Able to communicate the feature-sets, technical enhancements and benefits provided by Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
• Experience with IP networking (security, DNS, etc.).

Office Communications 2007:
• Office Communications Server 2007 architecture, design, and deployment experience (not administration).
• Should have experience with deploying SQL server 2005.
• Experience with architecting, design, and deployment experience with perimeter IP network technology (firewall, DMZ, etc.).
