We are looking for a professional services consultant to work out of our Downtown Denver office.

We have a product marketed to IT organizations designed for automation of administration functions in IT. This product can automate serverprovisioning, patch application, system monitoring, disaster recoveryplanning, backups, and database administration functions.

We seek a lead consultant for our professional services group, taskedwith the implementation of system automation. This individual willperform and execute discovery and requirements gathering, creating aplan for our clients to perform necessary automation functions, andsubsequently perform the install, configuration, customization, andprogramming of our product to implement the plan, possiblyincorporating other industry tools inthe process.

Requirements:

- 3-4 years experience as a developer in Java and related technologies.
- Experience in scripting technologies, such as unix shells,python/jython, perl, and ruby.
- 2-3 years consulting or pre-sales, performing gathering ofrequirements, customer expectation management, etc.- Preferred B.S. Computer Science or IT. We will consider experiencein lieu of education, however.
- Preferred experience in IT adminsitration, systems administration,DB administration, in which some amount of scripting or automation is performed.
- Willingness to perform 25% domestic travel.

CLOSED- QA Engineer - 6 mo. contract with possibility for hire - downtown Boulder

SUMMARY


Our client is seeking QA Engineer for their downtown Boulder headquarters. This position reports to the QA Manager.

This is a 6-month contract with possibility for hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases against Client and Operational facing software applications
  • On-going ad hoc testing of applications
  • Identify, analyze, and report application defects (e.g. detail steps to reproduce expected and actual results) and assist with resolution.
  • Write and execute test cases, test plans and document results
  • Verify that corrective actions meet quality objectives (e.g. verify resolutions and close bugs)
  • Assist in administrating defect tracking tool

Requirements:

  • Two years testing experience
    A background in manual testing background with an interest in learning automation preferred
  • Experience testing a Win 32 or Visual Basic application ideal. Understanding of SQL a plus.
  • Experience testing software for internal clients or internal distribution a plus

Qualifications:

Understanding of servers, networks, security, client/server model in a Windows Server 2003 environment
Strong understanding of MS SQL Server or other relational databases including stored procedure development.
Must have a solid understanding of IIS 6 and above
Must have an understanding of Classis ASP
Ability to communicate with various levels of technical experience (developers/ operations/ end users/ support staff)
Understanding of traditional software development life cycle and problem tracking systems
Ability to work in team environment, while being self-directed, proactive and action oriented

Our client is seeking a Software Architect to define and design architecture to support our business capabilities. This position will include optimization and expansion of the current platform as well as the introduction of new systems and functions. The Software Architect will interact with local and remote development teams and give guidance to ensure that the technical architecture supports the needs and requirements of the software product. You will drive architectural decisions and provide technical guidance for a team of software developers in an innovative and fast paced environment. This is a mission critical role in our Boulder headquarters reporting to the VP of Enterprise Architecture and Software Engineering.


Responsibilities: ·

Architect, design and develop the software supporting the core infrastructure, using an agile methodology and C# .Net development language among other technologies.·
