CLOSED - Sr. Java Developer / Architect (Boulder, CO)

An innovative startup in downtown Boulder is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team.

All of our developers work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, where everyone contributes to architecture / design as well as producing high-quality code and developing unit and integration tests. We use agile processes.

This is a senior-level position.

This is a full-time, employee, on-site position.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years as Java Developer
• Architecture and design of software systems coded in Java
• Advanced data structures and algorithms
• Advanced Java and JDK
• Advanced Java EE and servlet container environments
• Development of unit and integration tests
• Data access models and implementations
• Timing and queuing systems
• Linux competency
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Desired Experience:

• Virtualization software
• On-demand computing services
• Server monitoring and management
• GUI front-end development
• Apache, MySQL, JPA, Hibernate, Jetty, JBoss
• Agile software development
